主讲人介绍:Dr. Fred Paas is a professor of Educational Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam and has professorial fellowships at the University of New South Wales and the University of Wollongong in Australia. Since 1990, he has significantly advanced cognitive load theory, a key framework in instructional design, focusing on creating effective learning environments based on human cognitive architecture. His recent research explores the influence of physical environments and activity on cognitive load in technology-based learning. With an h-index of 110, he was ranked the third most-cited researcher in Educational Psychology from 1988 to 2023 and has authored over 300 publications. Since 2015. He has been the editor-in-chief of Educational Psychology Review and serves on editorial boards of leading journals. Dr. Paas is also a fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) underscoring his enduring contributions to the advancement of educational research globally.

 

Fred Paas博士是鹿特丹伊拉斯姆斯大学教育心理学教授,并在澳大利亚的新南威尔士大学和伍伦贡大学(卧龙岗大学)担任客座教授。自1990年以来,他极大地推进了认知负荷理论的发展,这是教学设计中的一个关键框架,专注于依据人类认知架构打造有效的学习环境。他近期的研究探索了物理环境和活动对基于技术的学习中认知负荷的影响。他的h指数为 110,从1988年到2023年,他被列为教育心理学领域被引用次数第三多的研究人员,发表了300多篇论文。自2015年以来,他一直担任《Educational Psychology Review》的主编,并在一些顶级期刊的编辑委员会任职。Paas博士还是美国教育研究协会(AERA)的会士,这彰显了他在全球教育研究领域所做出的持久贡献。
